About the Artist

Michelle resides in Dune Allen along Scenic Hwy 30A in South Walton, Florida.  Born and raised in Southwest Missouri, Michelle received a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design at Missouri Southern State University.  Fate brought Michelle to the Emerald Coast area in 1996 where she met her husband David at her first interview to work for his graphic design company; three years later they were married.

Michelle works out of her home and juggles graphic design, fine art and raising her family.  She uses fine art as an artistic outlet and takes great pride in creating paintings that capture the essence of South Walton.  Her paintings are inspired by the Gulf of Mexico and coastal dune lakes found along famed Scenic Hwy 30A.  Michelle paints several layers of colors and creates subtle details with a palette knife, skillfully creating texture and depth.  She hopes her paintings will bring happiness to her clients and remind them of their time spent by the sea.
